Dancing with Elizabeth is a video ballet class presented by The Performing Arts School of Classical Ballet (PASCB) located in San Antonio Texas. In today’s ballet class we demonsrate Faille.
Cuisse is a classical ballet term that means “thighs.” It is used to help the dancer understand where the action of the step should take place. For example, its always used with another term, such as tendu cuisse.
temps de cuisse (tahn duh kweess) To place one foot in front on another, then jump with two feet and land on one foot.
Temps de cuisse– Thigh movement. A compound step consisting of a battement degage and a sissonne fermee.
